Bridal Party Flowers

Bridal Bouquets
Teardrop
Currently the most popular style of bridal bouquet. This
design is very floral and structured. It is fully wired
so depending on the size and flower choice it may be heavier
than expected – a stunning choice.
|
Trailing
This is a beautiful and traditional style of bridal bouquet.
It looks great with a slimline gown and is tailored to suit
both your figure and your bridal gown.
|
Cascading
This bouquet is unstructured as compared to most other
styles. It can be made to any size, and is ideal for tall
brides who would like their flowers to make an impact. It
has many trails and has a similar style to the trail bouquet,
only larger and filled with many trails and sprays of flowers
cascading down.
|
Clustered Posy
Known as the most classic design, a clustered posy features
tightly-packed blooms held together by their stems. It is
usually a very simple structured design, and can often have
a mixture of wired flowers amongst the natural stems depending
on the flowers chosen. Clustered posy’s can either
have strong groupings of particular flowers; they can be
designed with only one flower type; or you may like to use
a few different flowers, but with a monochromatic colour
scheme (varied shades of the one colour).
|
Strauss Bouquet
This style of bouquet is very similar to the clustered
posy as it is a natural-stemmed bouquet; however, it has
a loose construction and resembles a handpicked bunch of
flowers. A very natural style which complements all dress
types.
|
Armsheaf
An armsheaf is a loose spray of long-stemmed blooms that
can be cradled in the crook of your arm – it looks
fantastic with a slimline gown and will draw attention to
a detailed bodice.
|
Biedermeier Bouquet
This style of bouquet starts with one group of flowers
in the centre of the bouquet, surrounded by different colours
and varieties of flowers. It is tightly clustered and is
natural stemmed. For the bride who wants to introduce a
vintage theme to her wedding day, this may be the perfect
choice.
|
Throwaway Bouquet
By gathering all those single girls together you can have
some fun and laughs as they reach for the bouquet. This
bouquet is designed to look similar to the bride's bouquet.
However, slightly smaller and constructed as a natural-stemmed
bouquet.
You may receive a FREE Throwaway Bouquet with any Bridal
order above $400.
|
| |
Bridesmaids' Bouquets
There are several choices of bouquet styles for bridesmaids.
They may have smaller versions of the bride's bouquet (usually
around two thirds of the size) or something completely different.
As with the bride's bouquet, you should consider the colour,
style and shape of their gowns as well as their body shapes.
|
| |
Buttonholes
For the men, this is a fantastic way of showing your attendants
who is a part of the bridal party, particularly if you are
having a very formal wedding. You may like to use similar
flowers used in the bridal bouquet for the groom, and similar
flowers for the groomsmen's buttonholes as the bridesmaids,
and of course, don't forget the pageboy. For the fathers,
grandfathers, ushers and anyone else you would like to make
of importance, a buttonhole is a fantastic way for the bride
and groom to show their appreciation by surprising them
on the day.
|
| |
Corsages
These can have a few different designs and are generally
given to mothers & grandmothers. A corsage is simply
a wired cluster of small flowers. They can be constructed
to be pinned to a dress or handbag. A wrist corsage is made
with an elasticized wristband to simply slip across your
wrist for the duration of the day - perfect for flowergirls
as they don't need to hold anything throughout the day.
|
| |
Flowergirl's Flowers
While a beautiful flowergirl can simply make your ceremony,
there are a few things you may need to consider when choosing
her flowers. It may be best to give older children the responsibility
of carrying a posy or flower basket, while younger children
could have hair circlets, blooms for their hair, and a colourful
wrist corsage to keep their hands free.
|
| |
Hair Flowers or Hair Comb
Individually wired flowers for the hair can be a simple
way of introducing flowers to your wedding.
|
| |
Hair Circlet
This is a wired circle of flowers that is placed on top
of the flowergirls head.
|
| |
Pomander Ball
This is a fully wired arrangement, constructed into the
shape of a ball. It has a ribbon attached for the wearer
to slip their hand into so that it can be held.
|
Ceremony Flowers
| |
Large Floral Arrangements
These make the ceremony feel as though it is 'filled with
flowers' with a few focal arrangements to lift the atmosphere
and make your guests feel as comfortable and interested
as possible before the bride arrives.
|
Bridal Registry Table
A simple arrangement on the registry table can make all
the difference to your photos when signing your marriage
certificates.
|
Pew Decorations
These can be either single blooms with an elegant ribbon,
or a cluster of lush flowers similar to those used in the
bridal party or ceremony arrangements.
|
Isle Decorations
Petals are a great way to decorate and show guests where
the bride will be walking. A simple way of showing your
guests where they need to be seated, and a stunning way
to impact the atmosphere!
|
Petal Confetti
This is a great way to shower the newly-weds as they depart
the ceremony!
|
Archways
This is a simple structure adorned with flowers and foliages
- perfect for an outdoor wedding.
|
Reception Flowers
| |
Bridal Table
Here you may be as creative as you like. There are so many
possibilities; a repetition of small vases of flowers; a
long and low arrangement for the bride & groom to see
over; candelabras woven with flowers and foliage; or even
simply scattered flower petals to adorn the table.
|
Wall of Flowers
A structure designed to length and height which is lavished
with luscious foliages and gorgeous flowers. An adorable
backdrop for the perfect setting.
|
Table Centrepieces
The latest trends of floral designs now include clear glass
vases lined with various foliages, which then overflow with
arrangements of stunning textures and colour combinations.
|
Pillars and Urns
Pillars can be entwined with delicate flowers and foliages,
while urns can have a magnificent effect and can be used
for a focal arrangement or can even be used to hide existing
objects.
|
|
Buffet Table
Yet another way of introducing your theme throughout the
areas of your reception venue.
|
Chair Ties
This is where the bridal party flowers can be introduced
subtly by personalizing the backs of your guests chairs.
|
Cake Top Decoration
Single blooms also make a stunning impact if you're having
iced flowers as the main decoration. Just introduce your
colour theme by having a few stems of flowers similar to
those used in the bridal party flowers.
|
Marquee Poles
Lavish the surroundings of the marquee and make an impact
by using large grouping of flowers and flowing foliages
to drape from the tips of the marquee.
|
Flower Theming
Enhance your wedding theme and evoke beautiful fantasies through the
perfect selection of flowers. You can carry the theme of your wedding
through your bouquet, church flowers, reception flowers and decorative
flowers. Perhaps you want to reflect a place like a delicate English
garden… Here are some ideas:
| |
English Garden
The typical flowers of an English garden are best reflected
in the soft hues of delicate lush blooms. To achieve this
look, use a selection of lavender, freesias, roses and subtle
greenery to evoke the wistful scent of freshly picked flowers
on a dewy morning.
|
White Wonderland
A classical favourite is the simplicity and regal elegance
of an all white wedding. One way to make an impact with
an all white theme is to select one flower type. White roses
or lilies are always stunning, as are lisianthus and orchids.
When it comes to decorating your ceremony or reception venues,
white flowers are a superb choice. Add some candles and
perhaps a touch of ivy or foliage and the effect is magical…
|
Pink Flowers
Soft, feminine and romantic or bold and exciting, pink
flowers have always played a pivotal role at weddings. Evoking
blushing brides, femininity and tender romance - pink cannot
be overlooked.
|
Vibrant Roses
Roses are available in a wide range of colours, types and
sizes. Be inspired by their vibrant colours and timeless
elegance. Depending on what type of rose you choose you
can spoil your guests with a wedding that indulges all the
senses. Roses are the ultimate choice for true romantics.
|
Red Flowers
Red is the colour of passion, desire, love and romance.
Red flowers are bold and daring - the perfect choice for
the bride who wants to make a statement. The effect of a
bright red bouquet against a white or ivory gown is simply
spectacular.
